Buy an item.
Users who have completed at least the second stage of registration can buy items on the fixed-price marketplace and place bids in auctions. If you need further help with registration please see our specialized guideline.
Buy via "buy now"
1. If you want to buy an item on the "Fixed-Price"-marketplace, just press "buy" and confirm with "buy now".
2. You can choose a payment method and pay immediately or you can pay later.
3. If you want to pay later, you will find the invoice in your user account. Pay the outstanding amount within the five day period.
4. When the payment is registered on the ShinyRare account, the item will be transferred to your Vault and will appear in your Vault portfolio.
From here on you can decide if you want to store your items, if you want us to send them to you, or if you want to offer the items again on one of our marketplaces.
Buy via "make an offer"
1. Press "make offer" on an item on the "Fixed-Price"-marketplace that allows price proposals.
2. Enter your price proposal and confirm with "make offer".
3. If the seller rejects the price proposal, you can submit a new price proposal. If the seller accepts, the purchase is binding at your suggested price.
4. You will find the invoice in your user account.
5. Pay the open invoice within the five day period. When the payment receipt is registered on ShinyRare's account, the item will be transferred to your Vault and will appear in your Vault portfolio.
From here on you can decide if you want to store your items, if you want us to send them to you, or if you want to offer the items again on one of our marketplaces.
Buy an auction item
1. Click "Bid now" on an item in a weekly auction.
2. Enter your maximum bid and press "Confirm bid".
3. If you are the highest bidder when Extended Bidding ends, you have won the auction for this item and the purchase is binding.
4. You will find the invoice in your account within the next three working days.
5. Pay the open invoice within the five-day period. Once the payment is registered on the ShinyRare account, the item will be transferred to your vault and will appear in your vault portfolio.
From here on, you can decide if you want to store your items, if you want us to send them to you, or if you want to offer the items again on one of our marketplaces.
