Sell an item.
To be able to submit collectibles for storage or offer them for sale on ShinyRare, level three of registration is required. The starting point to offer your items for sale is your personal ShinyVault. If you need further information on our vault please see our vault info page.
Offer an Item on the marketplace
1. Access your digital portfolio via Vault in your user account.
2. Press "Sell" and enter the selling price on an item you want to sell.
3. If you want to receive price suggestions check the "I want to receive offers" box and enter a minimum price for proposals.
4. Press "Confirm" to list your item.
5. Your item will immediately appear on the fixed price marketplace and will be available 24/7.
When an item is purchased at the listed price, or you accept a price suggestion, the buyer will receive the invoice within the next three days and will have five days to settle it after that. Once the invoice is settled, the item is moved to the buyer's Vault and the 14-day revocation period begins. ShinyRare will transfer your money to your account within three days of the end of the revocation period.
Items can be removed from the fixed price marketplace and relisted at any time.
Sell an item in an auction
1. Access your digital portfolio through "Vault" in your user account.
2. Press “Sell” and select Weekly Auction as the marketplace.
3. Select which weekly auction you want your item to be listed in.
4. Press "Confirm" to list your item.
5.Your item will be available in the weekly auction you selected.
If an item has received a bid at the end of the auction, the sale is binding, the buyer will receive the invoice within the next three days and will have five days to pay it after that. Once the invoice is settled, the item will be moved to the buyer's ShinyVault and the 14-day revocation period will begin. ShinyRare will transfer your money to your account within three days of the expiration of the revocation period.
Items can be removed from the auction process until 23:59 the day before the auction starts. After that it is not possible anymore!
